Here are the 13 most broken plays that feel like cheating:
RPO READ BUBBLE. Gun Bunch Open Offset formation. Set tempo to TURBO. It's three plays in one: read option, bubble screen, and RPO out route. If the read key crashes, pull and scramble. If he stands up, hand it off. Go fast before defense adjusts.
Y TRAIL. Audible from RPO Bubble. Set it as your first audible. Nice trail concept between the return route and drag. Post route over top. Comeback beats man coverage.
QB BLAST. Pistol A Slot, Ohio playbook only. Best play for fourth and inches. Gets downhill immediately. Always good for at least an inch or two. Sub in backup QB to avoid hits.
VERTICALS. Gun Trips TE Offset, Rutgers playbook. Hot route halfback to angle, outside WR to comeback. Read TE drag first, then halfback Texas route, then comeback.
FLOOD. Gun Off Trio Close. No hot routes needed. Read outside out route first, then zig route, then backside in route. Bang bang bang reads.

What Makes RPO Read Bubble So Broken Against Any Defense?
Gun Bunch Open Offset RPO Read Bubble is THREE PLAYS BUILT INTO ONE. The defense literally can't defend all three options at once.
Here's what you're attacking with:
- Read Option. Watch that read key. If he crashes down, pull the ball by holding A or X and scramble. If he stands up, press nothing and hand it off
- Bubble Screen, Easy cheap yardage with a quick throw
- RPO Out Route, Potential throw on the left side (can be a mis-throw if he bumps, keep that in mind)
But here's what makes it TOXIC. Set your tempo to TURBO:
- Click right stick in
- Go to coaching adjustments
- Go to tempo
- Set to TURBO
Now you're getting to the line incredibly fast. The defense is trying to make adjustments. And they're struggling. To defend this type of play, you KIND of have to make adjustments.
Just keep tapping R2 for turbo. Go fast fast fast. Snap before they're ready. You can get an entire drive for a touchdown just calling this over and over.

How Do I Set Up The Y Trail Audible From RPO Bubble?
This is perfect when you're going turbo from RPO Bubble. The defense is panicking trying to defend bubble. Now you audible to Y Trail and snap fast.
Setup Steps:
- Go into play call screen
- Find Gun Bunch Open Offset
- Select Wide Trail
- Tap left trigger
- Set audibles: Wide Trail FIRST, Inside Zone SECOND
- Set tempo to TURBO
Come out in RPO Read Bubble. Maybe audible, maybe don't. But when you DO audible. Snap super fast. They have to defend so many things and they're not going to be able to.

Formation: Rutgers playbook, Gun Trips TE Offset. ALWAYS put trips to wide side.
Hot Routes:
- Halfback: Angle route
- Outside WR: Comeback route
Read Progression:
- TE drag. If open, throw immediately. Don't decide before snap
- Halfback Texas route, Work back if drag isn't there
- Comeback route, Work eyes up to top right
Think about it. Drag attacks underneath. If he's not open, they're defending underneath. So comeback SHOULD be open.
Play #2: Flood (Gun Off Trio Close)

Z Shield Screen
Formation: Gun Bunch Wide
Playbook: Penn State ONLY
Never seen anything like it.
How It Works:
- Outside left WR runs drag/arrow route
- Two blockers release to lead block
- Throw right beneath him
Usage:
- Against user. Once or twice per game MAX
- User will start lurking
- Not a one-play TD
- But yards could NOT be easier
Slot Flat Screen
Formation: Gun Empty Base Trio
Best For: Short yardage, red zone
Takes away blitzes. BEATS mid blitz.
Key Points:
- Focus trip side (left)
- Don't look double side
- Beats man. Gets outside
- Gets underneath zone
- WR blocking does great job
- You get numbers

Right Seam Route:
- LETHAL against zone
- Throwing in seam nearly impossible to defend

Key Points:
- Shake route finds ways open in tight coverage
- Crosser picks up massive yards in seam
- Do NOT fixate on deep. Take what defense gives
- Against mid blitz, stay patient
How Do I Run Flexbone Midline Without Getting Blown Up?
Love this with Navy. Has BIG PLAY POTENTIAL.
Formation: Any flexbone formation
Play: Midline (ideally one you can flip)
Key Details:
- Run toward side of wider defensive tackle
- Read key can be weird
- Read key often outside. Want tackle above guard
How To Run:
- Hold A to keep it
- Follow fullback
- Treat LESS like read, MORE like literal QB follow
Reality Check:
- Sometimes get blown up. Being transparent
- But also get BIG PLAYS
- Read is really hard and inconsistent
- Follow more effective as base
- Can get read wrong with follow and STILL succeed
If you CAN make the read, try it. Hand off is good when you can. But follow works even with wrong read.
What Makes Drive Post And Spot TE Seam Feel Unfair?
DRIVE POST
Formation: Gun Trips TE (Alabama playbook)
Hot Routes:
- TE: Streak
- Halfback: Flat route
Reads:
- TE streak area or halfback flat for quick gain
- Drag
- Post
- Backside in route
Worst result is gain of two - awesome. Hit different receivers consistently. Post can be one-play TD.
KEY TIP: Set auto base protection to empty. Prevents getting screamed by pass rush.
Works in red zone. Hit halfback flat for easy TDs.
SPOT TE SEAM
Formation: Gun Wing (LSU playbook)
Hot Route: Drag the slot WR
Reads:
- Flat route. If there, throw it
- Corner route above
- Little snag route
- Drag underneath zone
Halfback does great job on flat attacking sideline. High-low with snag inside. Drag often open underneath.
Floods sideline. Great against man AND zone.

One typically open. Both going horizontal - really nice. Zig beats man, zone, AND match. Same with TE drag.

- Deep ISO Curl, That deep curl we hot routed
- Check and Release, RB from backfield (bailout)
Why 90% Completion Rate:
- Tough for defenses to put enough zones underneath
- Just need to hold onto contact catches
- Works in ALL situations. Fourth and inches, goal line, first and 10
