Welcome, and congratulations on unlocking our "Defensive User Mastery" guide! Our User is the single most important player on the field at any given time. He is capable of changing a bad defense into a GREAT defense. This course is gonna break down exactly how you can do that.

  • WR Drags, and HB Ins/Outs are great Hot Routes that can be added to numerous plays to help beat Man Coverage
  • Deep Posts as shown in the video can be smart routes to beat Man quicker/better

  • Our User should be a coverage defender who's tall, high speed, high cod, and just a DAWG of an athlete
  • User Blitz or Non Blitz Assignment depends on your Defensive Scheme
  • You can Slow Play, don't hold "Turbo" until you commit to a direction
  • Don't be afraid to User Corner Routes, or Deeper Routes down field. Take away what the Offense wants to throw!
Set Up
  • Every play we must be Usering something... we can't be in no-man's-land
  • Don't user in an area that already has a Defender (Have a hard flat on the field? You don't need to user there!)
