How to Set Up China Y Post
Formation Requirements:
- Need trips formation with inside + middle slot receivers
- Halfback in backfield for slide route
- Outside receiver for corner route
Route Adjustments:
- Streak the middle slot receiver — send him vertical
- Custom stem DOWN on inside slot receiver
- Keep corner route on outside receiver
- Halfback runs slide across formation
Don't overthink the setup. You're creating a high-low flood on the left side. Corner route goes high, flat route stays underneath, halfback slide cuts across. Three receivers, same area.
When to Use China Y Post
Use this as your third option in the Drive Post system. Not as a standalone play.
Perfect Situations:
