In this Inside The Mind video, we talk about why it's so important to make sure we're using our plays to their fullest potential. One of the most unused ideas in Madden is playing games with your 'Complimentary Routes'. Question - I’m trying to learn the Michigan playbook but am struggling against the double mug mid blitz and nickel 3-3 stack lb blitz specifically with this playbook. Help please.
2 - Rambo 5:02
Question - Could you talk through your mindset on defense against different formations? Like are you looking for opponent tendencies from certain formations and then adjusting your defense to that on what to put your zones in?
3 - Mgalipp13 9:56
Question - This question may seem redundant but I’m still having trouble stopping TE Attack (Deep Post) over the middle. I constantly user the middle LB in Tampa 2 defense and find myself out of position. I give up deep routes over the middle. Should I user the D-lineman or safety? Still need help, thx!
4 - Cody.Ballard 15:01

Question - In madden whats your main run defense and adjustments against heavy formations like iform and singleback?
3 - Primarch 6:30
Question - Meta in our dynasty is to take 98+ speed WR and either Jet Sweep/Touch Pass, or long bombs. Is there a way to counter one player like that, without sacrificing the rest of your defense or completely relying on your user in both situations?
4 - CeeGee 11:35
Question - Dynasty question - I'm wondering what you value more in players? Do you value their attributes, like Power Moves, and Block Shed, or do you value their player Abilities like Grip Breaker or Inside Disruptor (these are Dline examples but a general question as well for other positions)
5 - Bryan25 14:50
Question - How to make Reads video..basically a dcroft version of civils "how to make Reads like a pro" video on the website. Best way i can describe it
6 - Cody.Ballard 21:05
Question - As you head into LCQ, what are you thinking defensively and offensively will give you the best chance to win scheme wise? Can you compare/contrast the current META offenses/defenses and why your current offense/defense is your choice going into the tournament?
7 - Cody.Ballard
Question - Elaborating on previous question - what do you expect to see scheme wise in LCQ?
8 - Mgalipp13 27:20
Question - Coaching Adjustment: Ball Carrier on Conservative. Pro (+) Ball carrier protects the ball, decrease fumble chances. Con (-) Ball Carrier special moves disabled except give up & cover ball
However, I’ve noticed that you can still spin with conservative turned on. Is this a good coaching adjustment to use ALWAYS?
9 - #40 29:35
Question - How can one improve his open field tackling and overall USER abilities
10 - Cody.Ballard 33:55
Question - If you don't get to the question this week, then no big deal. Can you deep dive what you and other players mean when they talk about spacing on offense. How does it apply to formations, and route combos. What are some of the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to spacing, and are there any principles we can apply to our own offense?
1 - Mgalipp13 0:05
Question - How do you stop TE Attack (Deep Post) and Corner Routes? My base defense is Big Nickel | Over G - Cover 2 & Nickel | 3-3 Stack - Cover 3 Drop
2 - Wavcreator1702 2:50
Question - In 335 mint lb cross show 2. If the offense is the bunch TE set both my OLb and Corner are on the opposite sides of the RB. I’m confused on how to make my adjustments because that set up is different from what we learned in the setup video.
3 - Lotterdale 7:00
Question - What are some good deep attacking routes combos do you like out of pistol doubles and trips (double Y off , Y off trips) out of the Clemson playbook

8 - Rambo 24:45
Question - What’s the best defense in CFB to stop stretches and jet sweeps, (runs to the outside)
0:10 - How to assess blitz/no blitz pre snap. One of the things civil says he does pre snap is determine blitz/no blitz and then man or zone. Cover 0 man blitzes are usually somewhat straightforward based on alignment, but in his inside the mind he was like”I’m expecting a loop blitz here with this guy so I’m going to make him the Mike” he was right but as a viewer i wasn’t sure what signs to look for or pick up on that can help me distinguish blitzes easier."
5:40 - How do I attack nickel over double bracket offensively; especially when opponent is individually shading dbs
9:20 - This isn’t a question about how to stop a specific blitz or anything like that, but I’m curious why you chose Michigan’s offense over Oregon’s or the Oklahoma State system you previously ran. I’ve been using Alabama all year in CFB, but I want to try something new. However, I always end up going back to Bama, mostly because of their Trips TE formation.
11:50 - Whats your approach to attacking Cover 3 buzz match? Anyway to bomb it, I keep having to work down the field.
15:25 - I would say I am an intermediate level player, I have quick adjustments down but am not sure exactly of what zones I need to put my guys in against different formations, and also when it is beneficial to run man vs zone. Any tips on those two things?
21:00 - What is the best strategy to practice the switch stick?
22:55 - What did you learn from this last live event? What does your preparation for a ladders weekend, elims weekend, or live event entail? In your opinion, what do comp madden players waste the most amount of time on, and what do they need to spend more time on?
